Medals at the Bournemouth Open
Congratulations to members of Kamon BJJ who competed at the Bournemouth Open on Saturday 18th June. Out of eleven competitors from Kamon who competed five came home with medals. Phil Watts, Paul O’Brien, Zak Chiverton, Steven Leucaux and Martin Dell came home with 1 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze. Alex Box, Andy Law, Walt Willis, Angelo Cascarini, Gareth Mowbray and Higino Rodrigues also fought very well on the day. Everyone who competed showed great technique and a lot of heart. A big thank you also to Kamon students who came to support and cheer for everyone who fought which gave a real family feel within the team.

Southampton class closed
We’re sorry to say the Southampton class will be closed from now on. Unfortunately Phil Hamblin will be out of training for the rest of the year due to an injury and there’s no one available on Mondays to cover for him. We will be making an effort to restart the class at some point in the future so please watch this space.

As of April the 12th there will be some time changes to the classes at the Priory School.
Tuesday classes will be moving to the later slot of 7:30pm – 9:00pm and from the 15th Friday classes will move to 7pm – 9pm.
